Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has called for stronger collaboration with the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) to enhance job creation efforts across the state.
The governor made the appeal when the management team of the NDE paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House in Port Harcourt. He noted that the growing population in the state’s urban centres makes it imperative to expand employment opportunities as a means of curbing insecurity.
Governor Fubara further revealed that a newly discovered shoreline in Andoni Local Government Area holds great economic potential, which, if properly harnessed, could benefit both the state and the nation.
