The Rivers State Ministry of Education has announced the release of the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results.
In a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Ndidi Chikanele Utchay, school heads across the state—both public and private—were directed to access their schools’ results through the official Rivemis portal at rivemis.riversstate.gov.ng.
The Ministry further disclosed that schools will be duly notified of the date for the issuance of hard copy certificates. According to the statement, the certificates will be provided to both public and private schools at no cost. 
Meanwhile, the Ministry announced that the Resit Examination for candidates who failed English Language and Mathematics has been scheduled for Saturday, 18th October 2025, and will take place in the candidates’ respective schools.
