The Department of State Services has arrested five suspects in connection with the attack on St. Mary’s Catholic School in Papiri village, Niger State.
Gunmen had abducted 315 people during the incident last November, including 303 students and 12 teachers.
According to counter-insurgency publication Zagazola Makama, those arrested include a wanted member of Boko Haram, as well as two Nigerien nationals believed to have supplied weapons to the attackers.
