Arsenal Football Club have been crowned champions of the English Premier League for the first time in 22 years, sealing a historic triumph after Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw by AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
The result left City unable to close the gap at the top, confirming Arsenal as champions with games to spare and sparking celebrations among fans who have waited since the legendary 2003/04 “Invincibles” season under Arsène Wenger.
After finishing as runners-up in the previous three seasons, the North London side finally broke through, showing resilience in the closing stages of the campaign. Despite a crucial 2-1 loss at the Etihad that briefly handed momentum to City, Mikel Arteta’s men responded strongly, winning four consecutive matches without conceding to reclaim control of the title race. 
Managed by Mikel Arteta, Arsenal’s success has been built on both attacking consistency and defensive solidity. The team has recorded 25 wins, seven draws, and just five losses so far, while keeping 19 clean sheets—helping goalkeeper David Raya secure a third consecutive Golden Glove.
This triumph marks Arsenal’s 14th league title and their 32nd major trophy, ending a six-year wait for silverware and delivering Arteta’s second major honour at the club.
The title celebrations are set to continue at Selhurst Park on May 24, when Arsenal will lift the trophy in front of their supporters during their final game of the season.
With momentum firmly on their side, the Gunners now turn their attention to Europe, where they are set to face Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final in Budapest, as they chase a historic first European crown to cap a remarkable season.
